RADIANT SKIES
Elodie Games - PC / Console / Mobile
Radiant Skies was an ambitious project developed at Elodie Games for nearly two years. At its core, it was a four-player co-op action RPG focused on PvE gameplay. Players would choose a hero and fight their way through a world overrun by the Armada — a ruthless, militaristic corporation spreading corruption across the land. Radiant Skies had an extensive feature list, but after two years of development, Elodie Games made the decision to dramatically pivot the project, leading to the creation of Seekers of Skyveil.

Below is a rough presentation put together to help sell the UI Art Direction for Skies.
The big idea in this presentation was that our heroes were on a quest to restore the natural balance of their world. The ideas below spawned from looking at the balance of natural things that already exist in nature - leading to an interesting Mandala concept. Some of these ideas were also taken from a book I read years ago called “The Power of Limits.”
Figma was used throughout the project for wireframing and prototyping. Below is a video interacting with a prototype put together for crafting. What you see here is a glorified grey-box prototype intended to help sell the feature and the interaction patterns.
Additionally, Maya and After Effects were used to visualize complex concepts ideas. Below is a very early take on Crafting and the interactions between stations - not intended to be real UI but more to help visualize ideas.
